Organization

            We will have a governing board consisting of parents, community members,teachers and administrators from the school. Curricular and staffing decisions will be made by the administration but all other decisions, including but not limited to finances, buildings and grounds, school philosophy, scheduling, transportation, and accreditation, will be put forth to the board. This board shall meet a minimum of once monthly and except for any legal or personnel discussions, meetings will be open to the public, as per the Open Meetings Act.

Academic Program

The college preparatory academic program will be taught utilizing all of the latest technologies as an integral part of the process. Classes will be taught by highly qualified teachers using e-texts, class websites, wifi school buildings, laptop computers, Promethean boards, and the latest available proven class software available. Underclass will follow a rigid schedule with the daily schedule being flexible for upper classmen. Little work will be done on paper; instead it will be generated, completed and submitted electronically: making the school “green” by default. By utilizing a flex schedule we will be able to utilize a smaller building and by allowing some work to be done on-line remotely, we will reduce our "footprint."


Mastery Style Learning

Failure truly will not be an option at this school. All courses will be taught Mastery style with the individual student completing the required curriculum at a speed their learning style dictates. They may go on as fast as they can prove mastery or take as long as they might need to remediate and learn the material. The flexible schedule allows much time for tutorial assistance.

 Parental Collaboration 

Parental collaboration will not just be encouraged, it will be expected. Each parent will sign a Contract with the school outlining their duties and expectations as parents.

Code of Conduct and Dress Code 

The Code of Conduct and Dress Code will be strictly enforced.
